Listening friends, Merry Christmas and HAPPY HOLIDAYS. We bring you another packed episode. For the cold open not much is said other than us being a bunch of catty host talking the most random shit but then to start the show proper..... We roll into HAWT OR NAWT and for this week Mr. Hawtornawt is incognito again so we have contacted Sweet Tones Thomas to help fill in as he sent us the track "The Mountain" by the band Ok Goodnight featuring Elizabeth Hull on vocals, was this track HAWT OR NAWT?!?!?! Then it's the Classic Album Review (C.A.R) as this week we reviewed New Order's 1985 album "Low-Life". A new wave classic with a bunch of goth booty shaking bangers. And for the MAIN EVENT we watched and review 2005 Christmas SLASHER "Santa's Slay" featuring former WCW and WWE Champion Bill Goldberg. Listen as we breakdown this shlub of a film while trying to bring in some bleated Christmas cheer!!!

Listening friends Happy Holidays! Sorry for the wait but we have another packed episode. For the cold open good host Ed talks about wrapping up with school and good host James talks about his birthday and injuring himself at a punk show. Then we roll into HAWT or NAWT as for this week we decided to do something special (and not because Mr. Hawtornawt was on a flight to Texas) we have a sub in with Danger Dylon bringing us a SEA SHANTY song to see if we think it is HAWT OR NAWT?!?! Then for this weeks Classic Album Review we listen to BECK 1996 album "Odelay". One host has a fond connection with this album the other thought it was mid!!! And for this weeks MAIN EVENT we watched 1987 Troma meme classic of a film "Surf Nazis Must Die!!!". A terrible movie that one host has seen too many times and the other a first watch in disgust. Some "funny" moments and surf footage a plenty.

Hello again listeners, good host Ed here with the description cause James is a eepy boi- IT'S THE ANNUAL DDD RADIO SHOW HALLOWEEN SPECIAL!!! We open up with cold opens about how we're losers with nothing to do on Halloween but usual shenanigans all around. Super packed aka way too packed show coming your way.

For Hawt or Nawt, Mr. Hawtornawt has a Halloween special of his own with "Halloweenie 2: Pumpkin Spice" chosen by newest Triple D cast member, Mrs. Mr. Hawtornawt. Did the streak continue???(James here, No cause this was a different person but thanks to Mrs. Mrhawtornawt for sending the track)

Then we roll into the C.A.R.(Classic Album Review) with Thelonius Monk "Brilliant Corners" (1957). A short and sweet jazzy boi that had your hosts vibin' and toe tappin', mostly.

Then into the long ass MAIN EVENT we have the 20th anniversary review of Freddy vs Jason!!!

• for this week for the C.A.R we review "Palo Congo" by the artist Sabu from the year 1957
• one of the first recordings of the sounds of South America and is a classic because of that, but was it good? shit only one way to find out!

MAIN EVENT:

• and for your main event we reviewed the classic mockumentary from 1984 "This Is Spinal Tap"
• listen as we meme on all the jokes as we try to crank this review to eleven with all types of bad English accents
• this movie is a classic soooo come hang and listen as we bullshit about it.

• for this week C.A.R. we listened and reviewed Santana "Abraxas" from 1970
• a chill Latin fusion rock album with some of Santana biggest hits
• listen as we breakdown our thoughts and experience listening to this classic

MAIN EVENT:

• for this weeks Main Event we watched Dark Side of the Ring's season 4 episode 10 about Marty Jannetty called "The World According to Marty Jannetty"
• listen to our disgust having to review one of the most annoying sociopathic person we've ever review and worst a total loser
• Jannetty has a saying G.A.T (GOD'S AMUSEMENT TOY)
• but around the end of the episode it takes a dark turn as possibly the former Rocker might have murdered a man?!?!?!

Listen as we give some inside baseball on how goofy the promoter is and how the sound man drop the fuggin ball during Toxic Holocaust. • for this week we're doing a one off as we reviewed an episode from the recent season of Dark Side of the Ring with their look into WCW Bash at the Beach 2000
• it's an episode full of high ego lads of Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff
• listen as we're just non stop on Vince Russo impersonations
• there is a reason WCW died as a company and this event just describes the landscape of ignorance and failure.

DDD Radio Show Episode 118: VH1 Supergroup SEASON FINALE!!!(2006)

Listening friends we finally made it to the end of our seasonal journey of VH1's Supergroup (2006) and god it has been longgg!!! But we catch up with what we have been up to for the past couple of weeks. Mostly D.I.Y shows and waiting for August to end. We end the catch up convo talking about 35 to 45 year old men acting more immature then 18 year old kids at D.I.Y Punk/Grind shows. Then to start the show proper....

 

HAWT OR NAWT:

• for a very short but kinda chaotic edition of Hawt or Nawt, Mr. Hawtornawt sends us a track by Otoboke Beaver "Don't Light My Fire"
• this was an INSTA HAWT for good host James as he has heard of this band before
• but Edward has never heard this band, was this HAWT or NAWT for good host Edward?!?!?!

Classic Album Review:

• For this weeks Classic Album Review we listened to CHVRCHES "The Bones of What You Believe" (2013)
• Actually the most casual polarizing review to date for the DDD Radio Show as the hosts have mixed reviews for a lot of the songs
• but forsure one thing is agreed on is this album was a VIBE!!!

MAIN EVENT:

• well listening friends we finally made it to the end of this god awful show known as VH1 Supergroup
• it's now time for the big show that these rock and roll "superstars" have been working on for the past 14 days
• but nothing as easy as one bandmates disappears and arrives late for sound check and long time resentments arrive just in time for show time!!
• listen as we review on what these B Level rockstars finally showed us what supposedly makes them GREAT (being a cover band basically and them butchering a song all levels of bad)

• for this weeks C.A.R. Edward has decided to make us listen yacht rock classic by Supertramp "Breakfast In America"(1979)
• this album has songs you've definitely heard before as some are timeless classics (and some aren't)
• a casual polarizing review with your hosts. who like what? who hates what?!

MAIN EVENT:

•  for this weeks Main Event we're on the final stretch of VH1's Supergroup with episode 6
• listen to us as we explain our boredom as this might be the slowest episode YET!!!
• listen as Sebastian Bach is given the Ultimatum by UNCLE TED himself to stop drinking liquor and being a menace
• listen as some of possibly your idols loose what is left of any credibility that had in the first place (except Jason Bonham, there is a reason he plays in Led Zepplin and the rest of his band plays B to C tier Rock music.)

• well for a month worth of wait we finally get back to reviewing one of the shittiest shows we've seen
• was it worth the wait? no, well not for us. You the listener tho hell I hope you have fun listening to us explainl why these rock stars are the lamest thing to touch reality television
• but we do review the tussle of Sebastian Bach vs Evan Seinfeld!!! Does this event tear apart of DAMNOCRACY as we know it? Only one way to find out!!!
