Saturday Jan 08, 2022
Saturday Jan 08, 2022
Time Stamps: Hawt or Nawt (6:25), Scritti Politti (21:51), Transporter 3 (39:58)
Listening friends welcome back to another exciting episode of the DDD Radio Show with your Boys James and Edward. Conversations of life is short this week cause the holidays and the bullshit around them are over so we can meet at a regular scheduled time (a peak of true audio excitement). We then start things off with this weeks Hawt or Nawt with a track by the artist Nea "Some Say" which devolves to into a mystery of James trying to remember another song that has a similar melody. We also review another album randomly picked by the book "1001 ALBUMS You Must Hear...", Scritti and Politti's "Cupid And Psyche 85". Critics rave that this was a great pop record for the time, your host disagree entirely. And for your MAIN EVENT for this podcast we wrap up watching the Jason Statham Transporter trilogy (we're not watching the reboot cause that won't have that Statham cheese). Frank (Statham character) has fought against Human Traffickers, That one Colombian Cocaine Cartel that had a super virus to attack high level officials, will now have to face American Capitalists wanting to dump trash in the Ukraine. Also Frank has a bomb stuck to his wrist that will implode if he is too far away from his Audi!!! Rad show as always, enjoy friends~!

Listening friends it's a New Year and your boys are back with that podcast noise. Then it's our Hawt or Nawt segment as for this week we listen to Scythe Gang 666 and their track "808s & Screaming" a group of peeps that use to play metalcore, then decided that was trash and make as they quote "EXTREME DEATH TRAP!!!" Join along for that listening fun. We then review Frank Zappa's 1969 "Hot Rats" a jazz like record made by hippie rockers that honestly was a fun and challenging listen. Then for the MAIN EVENT what most you peeps are here to listen, "Transporter 2" featuring Jason Statham a RIDICULOUS action movie from the mid 2000's. This movie had it all, a evil Chad Chin bond villain, a stripper assassin, fast cars, fucking Miami Florida, Keith Davis, and a car that does kick flips. Rad show as always, enjoy friends~!

We fucked up and forgot/realized Christmas is right around the corner and we forgot to do a Christmas movie so for the MEAT of todays podcast we review 2002 "The Transporter" featuring Jason Statham and his oily bod( note we we're planning on doing this review but we kept delaying due to the hectic holiday schedule and when we finally got to recording we realized Christmas is 2 days away at the time of this recording). But before we get to Mr. Statham and his ass whipping ways we start off with conversations of life as Edwards explain his hectic holidays and James talks about the new Spider-Man movie (Yes SPOILERS YOU ARE WARNED). Then we review Simon and Garfunkel's 1966 album "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme". A fun easy listening album. And then the Statham rampages in the essence of holiday cheers. We start off talking about life as Edward tells his tales of his visit to Disneyland and James getting injured and going on awkward dates. Then we go into a little heated version of Hawt or Nawt as good friend Bonesteel shared Action/Adventure hit song on Tik Tok "Barricades". Listen as James struggles to decide if the track is HAWT OR NAWT!!!! Then we review Talking Heads debut album "Talking Heads 77" a fun listen of weird rock and roll. And for the MEAT of the podcast we wrap up our short journey of watching the Austin Powers trilogy with "Austin Powers in Goldmember". Michael Caine is the best in this movie, and everything felt stale in nature. Rad show as always, enjoy friends~!

Which turns into us roasting good friend Bonesteel. Was the track HAWT OR NAWT?!? Then we start reviews with us listening to G. Love and Special Sauce self titled a folky rap album that got dreadfully boring as it went on. Then for the MEAT of the podcast we continue on watching the Austin Powers movies with the next installment "The Spy Who Shagged Me". A better movie to then the first one so a great start to things and Dr. Evil being a total GEM. A rad show as always, enjoy friends~!

We then review an album recommended by the 1001 ALBUMS you must listen hear before you DIE, Jay-Z "The Blueprint". Another relic of a bygone era. And for the MEAT of the podcast we start a 3 episode journey as we review the Austin Power's movies starring Mike Myers with "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery". Listening friends we're back today after coming off that 3 hour epic know as the DDD RADIO SHOW EPISODE 69 SUPER SPECTICAL to a normal not 3 hour episode. We start off with conversations about Edward's work place dealing with middle age white women and their racist comments to his coworkers. Then James breaks down his weekend with playing a not too shitty but not great metal bar show that has moments of him howling at the moon for Instagram and then visiting good friend Bonesteel to whip his ass at Nintendo. For this weeks HAWT OR NAWT good friend Bonesteel sent your good hosts a track by Sueco "SOS (feat. Travis Barker)". Was the song HAWT OR NAWT??? Only one way to find out. Then for the last time we LET THE LED OUT as we review Led Zeppelin's "Coda" the last recording of original material that was a compilation of studio outtakes. And for the MEAT of the podcast, this week we review 1988 Maniac Cop!!!! A B-movie slasher that has superstars Bruce Campbell and Robert Z'dar and the guy that played SHAFT! Listen as both your host watch 2 different edits as we try to solve the mystery on who is the MANIAC COP killing innocent people on the STREETS!!!!! Rad show as always, enjoy friends~1

DDD Radio Show Episode 69 SUPER SPECTACLE: THE END OF ROCK OF LOVE!!!!!!!

Listening homies we bring the most packed bullshit episode we've ever done to date (and hoping not to do this again for a long time) as this the EPISODE 69 SUPER SPECTACLE. A monumental moment as we have now done up to 69 DDD RADIO SHOW episodes (like there is the usual celebration for making 50 episodes but we be some immature folks). We start things off with conversations of life as Edward recaps his Odyssey going to Knotfest lite to see Slipknot and all the bullshit that went with it. Then James recaps his disaster week of incompetent auto shop owners getting his van towed by the city and recovering that to getting his guitar players guitars robbed out his vehicle!!! We then return with HAWT OR NAWT as good friend Bonesteel sent us Dana Dentata's track "pantychrist" to listen and see if we think if it's HAWT OR NAWT!!! Then we continue our journey of LETTING THE LED out as we review Led Zeppelin's "In Through The Out Door" the last record before John Bonham passes away. We also reviewed the season finale of Dark Side of the Ring "The Steroid Trials" a very compelling and informative documentary piece covering the Vince McMahon Steroid Trials with leading man Jerry McDevitt a total savage of a lawyer. AND FOR YOUR LONG AWAITED MAIIIIIIIIN EVENT, after a long grueling bullshit journey of watching and reviewing all of Rock of Love as a series we've made it to the finish line!!!!! We review the season 3 finale but also the reunion show after as we did NOT want to make that a separate episode (we wanted to be DONE). This podcast episode is 3 HOURS but it wouldn't be a EPISODE 69 SUPER SPECTACLE if it wasn't. Rad show as always, enjoy to anyone that actually listens to the whole damn episode~!

Friday Oct 29, 2021
Friday Oct 29, 2021
Time Stamps: Led Zeppelin (12:45), I Know What You Did Last Summer (24:30)
Listening HOMIES were back again this Halloween with another fun horror movie to bring in the spooky holiday spirt haha. We review 90s big budget cheese "I Know What You Did Summer" which features half of the Mystery Inc crew in the live action Scooby-Doo movies. A fun movie that some people say is a Scream clone with an enticing mystery. Obviously before we get into the Hallo festivities we start things off with conversations of life and a new segment on the show, HAWT OR NAWT (which features a bumper). We check out the song "Friday" by Jeris Johnson and see if it's HAWT OR NAWT. Then we let the LED OUT by continuing down the Led Zeppelin studio discography with "Presence". If you have insomnia listen to this album it will put you to sleep. Rad show as always, HAPPY HALLOWEEN~!

Monday Oct 25, 2021
Monday Oct 25, 2021
Time stamps: led zeppelin (11:06), dark side (30:07), rock of love (1:09:40)
Listening homies were back with more of the packed bullshit you LOVE!!!! As always we like to start things off talking about life with work and playing punk//hardcore shows. Then we LET THE LED OUT with Led Zeppelin's double album epic "Physical Graffiti". How did your good hosts survive the HOUR AND 22 MINUTES of audio?!?!?! Then we review the new Dark Side of the Ring episode on defunct death match wrestling promotion XPW. At first we were like okay who gives a fuck, but then we're introduced to the carnage and titties because XPW was ran by a porn company with their crazed fearless ego maniac leader Rob Black. A gentleman that goes down in madness as he takes on the federal government. Then we end things off coming down on the carnage and genital talks with a boring episode of Rock of Love as Mr. Michaels is down to 3 ladies and the show tries to make something of this uncharismatic bunch of HAWT ladies. Don't worry listeners we try are best too. Rad show as always, enjoy friends~!
